A Program Manager manages ongoing program activity or a group of related projects for a company or organization. Responsibilities include developing program plans, defining project objectives, allocating resources, managing budgets, and monitoring program progress. They may work in production, administration, advertising/marketing, human resources, technology, finance, and other technical areas such as engineering.
Lead complex aerospace and military aviation programs with responsibility for cost, schedule, technical performance, risk, regulatory compliance, and contract execution. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of related program management experience. Experience in the aerospace industry. Experience managing aircraft or aviation programs. Experience with military aviation programs. Experience with C-130 programs strongly preferred. Expertise in FAA and Department of Defense regulatory compliance. Experience with airworthiness compliance requirements. Experience with program management, quality assurance, and program development. Ability to analyze bills of material. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical requirements. Experience analyzing technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier capabilities, and parts availability. Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and applicable contract requirements. Preferred Skills Background in prototyping. Aviation or aerospace engineering experience. Experience supporting aircraft modification or modernization programs. Experience with military aircraft certification and airworthiness activities. Experience with supplier capability assessments and manufacturing readiness. Job Responsibilities Manage daily execution of aerospace program and contract requirements. Monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance against program objectives. Develop and maintain project plans and execution schedules. Prepare and report program status to management. Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate program risks throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate contract requirements, changes, interpretations, and closeout activities. Ensure program execution complies with applicable FAA, DoD, acquisition, and airworthiness requirements. Review technical data, bills of material, engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing constraints. Support supplier and parts availability assessments. Develop and implement corrective action strategies for program issues. Manage project closeout activities and verify contractual obligations are completed. Ensure program documentation and records are properly maintained.
