Position Offered By No Fee Agency We are seeking a detail-oriented, driven Program Manager to manage the successful execution of assigned programs and contract requirements. This individual will be responsible for ensuring cost, schedule, and performance objectives are achieved while serving as a key interface between customers, internal teams, and leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong program management and government contracting experience. Experience supporting military aviation or aerospace programs, particularly the C-130 platform, is highly desired. Responsibilities As a Program Manager, responsibilities will include: Manage and direct the daily execution of contract requirements to ensure cost, schedule, and performance goals are met. Interface, communicate, and coordinate with internal and external customers on matters pertaining to existing programs. Serve as a primary interface with customer program management and maintain effective customer relationships throughout program execution. Participate in program reviews, customer meetings, technical reviews, seminars, and other program-related activities. Develop and implement program plans and schedules to assigned projects and provide periodic program status updates to senior management. Formally identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with Contracts on contract requirements, changes, interpretations, deliverables, and completion of contractual requirements. Ensure projects are executed in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies and procedures, including federal acquisition regulations. Coordinate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, quality, contracts, procurement, and other functional teams to support successful program execution. Ensure communication and cooperation among team members and assist in resolving areas of conflict. Develop and corrective action strategies when required to address program performance, schedule, technical, or quality concerns. Ensure timely closeout of completed projects, including satisfaction of contractual obligations and proper documentation of project records. Provide leadership and guidance to personnel supporting assigned projects as required. Review and understand engineering drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), and other technical documentation to support product assembly and testing. Analyze technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier capabilities, and parts/equipment availability as they relate to program execution. Perform and/or coordinate kitting of parts required for assembly. Support ground and flight testing of products both in the shop and in field environments. Support, communicate, reinforce, and represent company mission, values, and culture. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Required Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated program/project management experience with the ability to manage cost, schedule, performance, risk, and contractual requirements. Solid leadership and management skills, particularly in influence management and conflict resolution. Excellent customer interface, relationship management, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional technical environment. Ability to review and understand engineering drawings, Bills of Material, and key technical requirements. Ability to analyze technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier capabilities, and parts/equipment availability. Proficiency with personal computers and networking. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance . Preferred Experience Program management experience within a DoD, military, or government contracting environment. Experience managing or supporting aircraft/aviation or aerospace programs. Direct experience supporting military aviation programs. Experience with the C-130 aircraft/platform. Knowledge of FAA and DoD regulatory requirements, particularly as they relate to aircraft airworthiness and compliance. Experience supporting airworthiness certification/compliance activities for military or other aircraft programs. Background supporting aircraft modification, integration, prototyping, or aerospace engineering programs. Experience working with engineering and technical teams throughout the development, manufacturing, integration, and testing lifecycle. Experience with quality assurance and/or quality management within an aviation, aerospace, or DoD environment. Experience supporting ground and flight testing of aircraft systems, modifications, or products. Experience working directly with military or government customers in a program management capacity.
