Job Description

Senior Aerospace Program Manager responsible for directing complex aviation programs, managing contract execution, and ensuring regulatory, airworthiness, cost, schedule, and performance requirements are met. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred 10+ years of related program management experience Aerospace industry experience Experience managing aircraft or aviation programs Military aviation experience C-130 program experience Expertise in FAA regulatory compliance Expertise in Department of Defense regulatory compliance Experience with airworthiness compliance requirements Experience with program management, quality assurance, and program development Ability to analyze bills of material Ability to interpret engineering drawings and key drawing requirements Experience analyzing technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier capabilities, and parts/equipment availability Preferred Skills Background in aviation or aerospace engineering Experience supporting prototyping programs Experience with federal acquisition regulations Experience managing corrective action strategies for complex aerospace programs Job Responsibilities Manage daily execution of program and contract requirements. Monitor program cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Develop and maintain project execution plans and schedules. Report program status and performance to senior management. Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate program risks throughout the project life cycle. Coordinate contract requirements, changes, interpretations, and completion activities. Ensure program execution complies with applicable FAA, DoD, airworthiness, and federal acquisition requirements. Review technical data, engineering designs, specifications, bills of material, supplier capabilities, manufacturing constraints, and parts availability. Develop and execute corrective action strategies when program performance issues are identified. Manage project closeout activities and verify completion of contractual obligations. Ensure required program and contract documentation is completed and properly recorded.
