Job Description

The Program Coordinator for the Center for Free Enterprise (CFFE) is a part-time, temporary position responsible for assisting the CFEE Executive Director with the coordination and delivery of all CFEE programming activities. The Program Coordinator is a high customer service-oriented role responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the CFFE and is highly engaged in serving the needs of all visitors to the office including students, faculty, staff and other guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coordinate Seed to Scale Incubation Program Coordination of the marketing of seed to scale program Onboarding and coordination of incubation companies Coordinate mentor network and engagement events Support student entrepreneurs going to various state and local entrepreneurial competition Directly coach student startups Manage the Plant the Seed Fund. Coordinate the oversight activities for the Morning Grind Learning Lab Supervise the student employees and the operations of the learning lab. Organize monthly board meetings. Support weekly team meetings. Support orders and ongoing needs of the learning labs. Manage the budget of the learning lab. Mentor the student team with entrepreneurial and business skills. Coordinate and Support Center Operations Facilitate the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem at FSC. Coordinate and support free enterprise events. Coordinate and support entrepreneurial events on campus. Support the CFEE's various student clubs. Support the CFEE Advisory Board meetings. Contributes to the success of the department by performing all other duties as needed to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of the College.
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum of 2 years of work experience. Ideally, the work experience will be with a start-up, entrepreneurial oriented organization. Ability to work with internal and external leaders; public relations skills. Project and time management skills. Excel skills and budget management skills. Ability to see the big picture and to work with operational details. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Creative marketing and writing skills. Crisis management and problem solving skills. Ability to work with transparency and open communication.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position primarily involves sedentary work performed in an office and academic setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while performing administrative tasks, using a computer, and communicating with students, faculty, and staff. Frequent use of hands and fingers for keyboarding, data entry, filing, and operation of standard office equipment is required. The position also involves occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting or carrying office materials, files, supplies, and documents, typically weighing up to 20 pounds. The employee must be able to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication methods, and possess sufficient visual acuity to read documents, review data, and work on a computer screen.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is performed primarily in a professional office environment within an academic setting. The employee works regularly with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication. The work environment is generally quiet to moderately busy and requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, interruptions, and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. The position may require occasional attendance at meetings, campus events, registration activities, or other program-related functions, which may involve travel between campus locations and occasional evening or weekend hours. The employee is exposed to typical office conditions and routinely uses computers, telephones, printers, and other standard office equipment. The work environment is climate-controlled, and exposure to hazardous conditions is minimal.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is not typically required because the work is generally performed in a standard office and classroom environment with minimal exposure to hazardous conditions.
