This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality instruction, supporting and developing instructional staff, engaging families and community partners, and fostering a positive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and youth development. The Program Lead serves as the primary point of contact for instructors, students, and families while helping to advance organizational goals and educational outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Program Leadership Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of middle and high school educational programs. Collaborate with instructors to develop, review, and enhance lesson plans aligned with program objectives and student needs. Monitor program quality and ensure instructional consistency across classrooms and learning environments. Support the development of academic enrichment, arts, STEM, and youth development initiatives. Instructional Support Provide direct instruction and classroom coverage when instructors are absent or additional support is needed. Coach and mentor instructors through observations, feedback, and professional development opportunities. Assist instructors in implementing effective classroom management and student engagement strategies. Analyze student performance data and collaborate with staff to improve outcomes. Staff Recruitment and Development Lead recruitment efforts for instructional staff, including candidate screening, interviews, and hiring recommendations. Facilitate onboarding and training for new instructors. Coordinate ongoing professional development and instructional training sessions. Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture. Family and Community Engagement Serve as a primary liaison between families, instructors, and program leadership. Address parent concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner. Build and maintain partnerships with schools, community organizations, and stakeholders. Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and outreach activities. Student Support Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Support student attendance, behavior, and academic success initiatives. Assist in developing intervention strategies for students requiring additional support. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate program records and documentation. Assist with scheduling, program planning, and resource allocation. Prepare reports and updates for organizational leadership. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
