Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide. HX5 is currently seeking an Acquisition Program Manager Senior to join the team at Eglin, AFB in Niceville, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide acquisition program management support across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support) Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition documentation such as: Acquisition Strategy (AS) Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). Monitor and evaluate program cost, schedule, and performance using metrics and Earned Value Management (EVM). Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; maintain and manage risk registers. Lead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), milestone reviews, and technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR). Support source selection activities, including proposal evaluation and contract modifications. Coordinate across engineering, logistics, test, and financial stakeholders to ensure integrated program execution. Prepare and deliver briefings, status reports, and decision support materials to senior leadership. Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international armaments cooperation efforts, as applicable.
Education and Experience:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of relevant experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD; Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must have or be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance by date of hire. Must be able to travel, including air travel.
