Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for directing and planning, and coordinating the activities and events, as well as a variety of administrative and office support service provided by the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Florida Cooperative Extension 4-H Program. The individual coordinates activities and programs designed to enhance educational experiences, build leadership skills, and encourage and develop interests of diverse youth through "hands-on" discovery learning which enables them to reach their fullest potential. In addition, the individual in this position is responsible for coordinating/performing general maintenance work related to the maintenance of facilities and lawn; maintenance on equipment and tools; as well as care, feeding and transferring/transporting of animals Tribal wide. The incumbent serves as a liaison with other STOF governmental departments, reservation community services and /or other local key community partners. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. An Associate's degree is preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in coordinating and/or administrating a community and or educational program is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must demonstrate proficient computer skills working with Microsoft software programs. Must be able to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
