Summer Associate Internship (Program Specialist) Navy Federal Credit Union United States, Florida, Pensacola Sep 09, 2026 Overview Job Description Security Training provides specialized training and support for Fraud Operations and Global Security branches. Our team consists of a wide array of training professionals including Facilitators, Designers, Training Logistics Specialists, Program Managers, Communications Specialists, and Content Service Specialists. Our mission is to prepare Fraud and Global Security team members with the training, tools, and resources they need to succeed in their roles. Security Training maintains procedures and manuals, sends division communications, develops training materials, facilitates training classes, creates visual assets, and ensures compliance standards are met. In addition to training, we support engagement events and development opportunities that strengthen skills, encourage growth, and bring our Security teams together. We are looking for a motivated Summer Associate interested in gaining practical experience providing operational support to the Program Management function, contributing to the planning, execution, and monitoring of division wide programs and events, assisting in analyzing program data, preparing reports, coordinating cross-functional activities, and supporting stakeholder engagement. Potential Summer Associate projects may include: Evaluating current engagement events, success rate, and effectiveness
Partnering with the Program Manager to develop 2028 engagement theme for Fraud and Global Security division
Creating a comprehensive end to end plan for various 2028 events The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later. Responsibilities Provide operational support for the execution of division-wide programs
Analyze program data and performance metrics to support reporting and decision-making
Assist in developing program plans, timelines, and documentation in collaboration with program managers
Coordinate cross-functional activities and ensure alignment with program goals
Support stakeholder engagement efforts through communication, documentation, and follow-up
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness
Create and/or maintain program dashboards or tools to ensure accurate and timely execution Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Program Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Organizational Leadership, Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
Experience in program coordination, event planning, or specialist-level support roles
Experience reviewing program data and preparing reports for leadership and stakeholders
Skill in coordinating cross-functional activities and supporting program execution
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements
Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, supporting program alignment, and presenting to an executive audience
Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., Asana, Power BI)
Experience supporting processes, tracking, and documentation standards
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to support program success
