We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is committed to eradicating homelessness amongst our veterans. The Foundation is seeking an experienced Program Director to work collaboratively with and oversee the program staff serving Veterans who have experienced unsheltered homelessness and are now transitioning in to permanent housing. Candidate will be responsible for the overall administration of the supervision of the Lead Case manager, Case Managers, and other staff with programmatic responsibilities. The Program Director is responsible for the coordination of client services, staff training and development, implementation of program policies and procedures and summary reports. Daily tasks will include acting as T2T's representative to outside organizations in the absence of the Director of Supportive Services Provide and maintain thorough documentation and reports, Oversee and support the Case Management team Duties and responsibilities Supervises program staff to include completing probationary and annual evaluations, conducting monthly case reviews with staff, provides crisis management. Facilitates staff communication through ongoing contacts and periodic meetings to discuss program issues and matters of mutual concern. Responsible for monitoring program census and coordinating client referrals. Maintains regular communication with contract agencies that pertain to residents referred by these agencies. Attends all required meetings and completes all required administrative paperwork from the above agencies. Networks with appropriate agencies, organizations and individuals for the purpose of sharing resources and engaging in collective advocacy for homeless Veterans. Facilitates communication with the core community regarding matters of mutual concern. Responsible for the execution of agency policies and procedures to all site staff. Participates in administrative team meetings and completes necessary follow-ups. Coordinates with the Director, Veteran Facilities and Property Manager, on all matters of concern regarding building and facility management. Effectively use and practice Sanctuary Models tools; safety plans, community meetings, psycho-educational groups, team meetings, red flags reviews, and self-care in the program to create a non-violent and trauma sensitive culture. Promote and model the core values of T2T to create a non-violent and trauma sensitive culture. Meets for regular supervision and performs other tasks as assigned by the Director of Supportive Services. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in program supervision and administration; LMSW in Social Work or a related field; MSW acceptable. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills; Detail oriented. Proficient at managing time and resources. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask multiple projects and supervise personnel. Experience in working with homeless Veterans and knowledge of city/state/government policies. Knowledge and experience of electronic health records (AWARDS or similar) preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office/ Google Suite (or equivalent). Pre-employment screening, including a background check, is required.
