Overview Lighthouse Treatment Centers of Georgia is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Program Director to lead the daily operations and continued development of our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP). This leadership position is responsible for maintaining high-quality, patient-centered services while supporting regulatory compliance, staff development, community engagement, and organizational growth. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who understands addiction treatment, public health, and the needs of underserved and culturally diverse populations. The Program Director will collaborate with clinical, medical, nursing, pharmacy, administrative, and community partners to expand access to evidence-based treatment and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities Direct and oversee the daily administrative and program operations of the Opioid Treatment Program. Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that support the organization's mission, strategic goals, and patient needs. Ensure operations comply with applicable federal and state regulations, accreditation standards (CARF), organizational policies, and funding requirements. Lead, supervise, and support program employees and volunteers through training, mentorship, performance evaluations, and ongoing feedback. Promote collaboration among medical, nursing, counseling, pharmacy, administrative, and support personnel. Monitor service quality, patient outcomes, program performance, and operational data. Use program data and quality-improvement findings to identify trends, correct deficiencies, and strengthen service delivery. Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, purchasing, reporting, and other administrative functions. Prepare accurate reports, proposals, correspondence, and other required documentation. Build productive relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, government agencies, referral partners, and other stakeholders. Lead outreach efforts to increase community awareness, reduce stigma, and improve access to opioid use disorder treatment. Represent the organization at community meetings, professional events, public presentations, and stakeholder discussions. Coordinate staff training in areas such as addiction treatment, CPR, cultural competency, patient engagement, safety, and regulatory compliance. Support grant writing, fundraising, donor engagement, and other efforts to develop sustainable funding. Oversee community education, social media, and marketing initiatives related to program services. Respond professionally to patient, employee, partner, and community concerns. Perform other leadership duties necessary to support safe and effective program operations. Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience in program leadership, healthcare administration, behavioral health, addiction treatment, social services, public health, or a related field. Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and providing performance feedback. Strong understanding of program development, project management, organizational planning, and continuous quality improvement. Knowledge of addiction treatment practices, opioid use disorder, and the needs of underserved populations. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and public-speaking skills. Experience developing community partnerships and conducting outreach activities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, electronic data systems, reporting tools, and customer relationship management platforms. Ability to analyze program data and use findings to guide operational improvements. Bachelor's degree (required) or master's degree (preferred) in healthcare administration, public health, social work, counseling, business administration, or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications Previous leadership experience in an Opioid Treatment Program or other substance use disorder treatment setting. Knowledge of OTP regulatory, accreditation, medication-management, and patient confidentiality requirements. Experience with grant writing, fundraising, budgeting, and contract or funding compliance. Experience working with culturally diverse and underserved communities. Bilingual proficiency.
