Nonprofit Sponsorship Programs Specialist 2874 Johnson Ferry Rd, Marietta, GA 30062 From $23 an hour

  • Part-time Who We Are BrightPoint for Children partners with Christian ministries around the world to ensure thousands of children receive an education, healthcare, and a path out of poverty.
As a 501(c)(3) faith-based nonprofit, we come alongside ministry partners by managing and supporting their child sponsorship programs with excellence, compassion and integrity. Position Overview The Sponsorship Program Coordinator (part-time) will oversee a defined set of recurring workflows and administrative processes that help ensure our sponsorship programs operate smoothly and accurately. While much of the work is detail-oriented and process-driven, the impact is deeply relational
  • supporting ministries, encouraging sponsors, and ultimately helping children receive consistent care and support.
We are seeking someone who aligns with BrightPoint's mission and core values, takes pride in data accuracy, learns systems quickly, and finds genuine fulfillment in structured, recurring work that supports children around the world.
Please note:
While hours may increase or decrease based on program cycles and workload, we are looking for someone who can commit to a consistent, dependable in-office schedule. Key Responsibilities Database Management Maintain and update child, sponsor, and program records in BrightPoint's database Receive and process partner submissions, reviewing for format, accuracy and completeness before entry Identify recurring discrepancies or error patterns and flag before they affect downstream reporting Follow documented step-by-step processes for recurring tasks, noting inconsistencies and areas for improvement Workflow & Deliverable Oversight Take ownership of one or more defined program workflows
  • running that process accurately and on schedule across all partners Coordinate the sending, receiving, and processing cycle for partner deliverables
  • tracking status from initiation through completion Manage deadlines across 20+ partner programs operating on different schedules Identify recurring workflow bottlenecks and contribute recommendations for longer-term process improvements Adapt to workload rhythms that shift by season; some periods are steady, others are high-volume and deadline-driven Team Support Contribute to identifying and refining processes as our programs continue to grow Update internal process documentation and workflow guides to support consistency across the team Collaborate with a small, close-knit team where your contributions are visible and valued Bring questions and a fresh perspective•we encourage our team to ask why, not just how Qualifications Genuine alignment with BrightPoint's mission and values Ability to commit to a consistent, reliable in-office schedule in Marietta, GA Strong attention to detail, accuracy is central to this role Experience in administrative, program coordination, or data management roles Ability to follow detailed, documented processes independently and consistently Warm, professional written and verbal communication Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the United States Bonus Skills Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/database systems Familiarity with nonprofit or faith-based organizational environments Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel) Work Environment Part-time, in-office role located in Marietta, GA (East Cobb).
