NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the National Park Service (NPS). These experienced professionals provide administrative expertise, facilities management, natural and cultural resource planning, and a broad array of other professional skills that support the National Park Service through the Experienced Services Program (ESP).

Duties:
Enrollee will assist the Cumberland Island NS staff with coordinating the Every Kid Outdoors Grant to bring Camden County 4th graders to visit the park for hands on curriculum based activities. Enrollee will provide training for volunteers, coordinate scheduling of field trips and conduct pre and post visit for each school.
Coordinate field trips for all county 4th graders, including scheduling 50%
??Train volunteers as well as present programs in person on field trips? 20%
Update current programming using approved curriculum 20%
Build Teacher networks 10%
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in Education
OR BA/BS
Degree in Education
Instructional design or teaching background
Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat
Other:
Physical requirements: Standing for long periods, able to walk over 1 mile in rough terrain, working in adverse weather conditions ( cold temperatures ) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
