Senior Learning Program Specialist About the Role Georgia System Operations Corporation (GSOC) is seeking a Senior Learning Program Specialist to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of supervisor and new manager development programs. This role owns end‑to‑end program execution-from planning and facilitation to evaluation-and plays a critical part in strengthening frontline leadership readiness across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strong facilitator and program owner who is equally comfortable designing curriculum, managing a training calendar, partnering with subject matter experts, and delivering engaging learning experiences in both classroom and virtual settings. What You'll Do Own and manage GSOC's supervisor and new manager development programs, including mentoring and knowledge transfer initiatives Facilitate monthly leadership and Learning Academy courses in virtual and in‑person formats Design, update, and maintain leadership curriculum using adult learning and instructional design best practices (ADDIE or equivalent) Develop and manage the annual training calendar, cohorts, and program launches Partner with L&D leadership, internal stakeholders, and SMEs to align learning solutions with business and leadership capability needs Oversee program logistics, timelines, vendors, and communications Measure program effectiveness using defined metrics (e.g., participation, completion, satisfaction, application of learning) and recommend data‑driven improvements Represent Learning & Development in cross‑functional initiatives as needed What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field Ideally, 5+ years of experience in leadership development, talent development, or corporate learning program management Proven experience owning and managing learning programs from design through delivery and evaluation Demonstrated facilitation experience for leadership or professional development audiences Strong project management skills, including managing timelines, stakeholders, and multiple workstreams Experience applying instructional design methodologies to create scalable learning solutions Preferred Qualifications Instructional Design certification (ATD, CPLP, or equivalent) Experience with LMS platforms and learning content development tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise, Storyline) Key Skills & Competencies High‑impact facilitation and presentation skills Strong instructional design and adult learning expertise Ability to translate business needs into practical, engaging learning experiences Data‑driven mindset with experience analyzing program outcomes Strong partnership and influence skills across multiple organizational levels Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and learning technologies Advantages of Working at GSOC Working at GSOC means more than just a job, it's an opportunity to contribute to work that truly matters.
