Job Description
Position Summary Responsible for leading and overseeing the local implementation of the Thrive Iowa Initiative. Acts as the primary connector among alliance partners, providers, navigators, child welfare, and community organizations to ensure effective, compliant service delivery. Key duties include supervising staff, maintaining adherence to Thrive Iowa standards, managing reporting and compliance, and driving continuous quality improvement. Ideal candidates have strong social services experience, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to balance relationship-building with accountability and data-driven oversight. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in social services, community-based programs, public health, or a related field (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree) Ability to handle highly confidential information Strong relationship-building, facilitation, and community engagement skills Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presenting information to diverse audiences Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills Experience supervising staff or coordinating multidisciplinary teams Ability to collect, analyze, and present data to inform decision-making and community reportingPreferred:
Experience working with family stability, child welfare, care coordination, or navigation models Familiarity with grant reporting, performance metrics, and compliance monitoring Experience working with coalitions or alliances across multiple sectors Essential Job Functions Program Leadership & Standards Compliance Oversees local implementation of the Thrive Iowa Initiative in accordance with established Standards and Playbook requirements Acts as a subject-matter expert in the Restore Hope model and Thrive Iowa processes, providing guidance and technical assistance to Alliance partners and Primary Providers Ensures program fidelity, quality assurance, and continuous improvement Staff Supervision & Provider Support Conducts one-on-one meetings with Primary Providers managing caseloads Weekly for full-time staff Bi-weekly for part-time staff Reviews progress, documentation, outcomes, and compliance during one-on-one meetings Provides coaching, problem-solving support, and accountability for meeting program expectations Acts as direct supervisor for Thrive Iowa Navigators, as needed Alliance & Community Leadership Plans, organizes, and facilitates monthly Thrive Iowa Alliance meetings in accordance with the Playbook Schedules and facilitates monthly Primary Provider meetings, ensuring required updates and agenda topics are addressed Maintains accurate attendance records (sign-in sheets) for all alliance and provider meetings Develops and maintains strong working relationships with community partners, including nonprofit organizations, government agencies, faith-based organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and local businesses Recruits new partners and Primary Providers to strengthen the Thrive Iowa network Reporting, Data & Compliance Collects, analyzes, and presents community-wide data related to Thrive Iowa outcomes Submits at least one participant success story per quarter Completes all required quarterly and ongoing reporting accurately and on time Produces regular updates and reports for publications, funders, and grant requirements Meets weekly with assigned Thrive Community Success Manager and completes all required trainings within the Learning Management System (LMS) Advocacy & Community Impact Advocates for individuals and families participating in Thrive Iowa services Promotes collaboration across service providers to reduce duplication and improve outcomes Serves as a trusted community resource for Thrive Iowa information, processes, and referral pathways Conducts oneself in a manner consistent with the professional and ethical standards of Restore Hope and partner organizations Additional Responsibilities Completes special projects as assigned Performs all other duties as needed to support the success of the Thrive Iowa InitiativeSimilar remote jobs
