Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm About Foundation 2 Crisis Services Foundation 2 Crisis Services is a mission-driven, non-profit organization that provides critical crisis intervention and prevention services across Iowa. We operate a 24/7 crisis center, including phone, text, and chat services. We also operate an emergency youth shelter, mental health support groups, community-based crisis programs, training, and more. We have been saving lives for over 50 years. Join our team today! Overview of the role Provide direct supervision to Access Center Crisis Counselors who staff a 24:7 schedule and monitor payroll and scheduling. Triage clients at the MHAC as needed due to coverage needs, training, or otherwise indicated. Assist the Program Manager with data collection, document quality assurance, and workflows. Take part in Access Center leadership meetings, committees, and represent Foundation 2 and the MHAC at community events and presentations. Assist with day-to-day operations of triage services at the Linn County Mental Health Access Center. Coordination with local providers, problem solve client situations, assist in program development, and provide on-call MHAC triage. Generally, the hours of the job are Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM. Must have flexibility to work, train, and oversee staff on all shifts across a 24/7 schedule. Benefits The annual base pay starts at $47,500, plus our generous benefit package of $12,000 per year. What you need Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field required and two (2) or more year's relevant experience. Or bachelor's degree in related field with two years relevant experience. Comfort using basic computer software. Basic typing and data entry skills. Excellent writing and grammar skills. Pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2 Crisis Services. Submit copy of college degree or transcript as required by licensure for personnel file. Live within 50 miles of Cedar Rapids, IA. Attend all MCO trainings within 120 days of hire (40 hours, including two (2) consecutive eight (8) hour days). Successfully complete required trainings within required time periods. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in crisis services preferred. Education or training in trauma-informed care preferred. Experience in strengths-based practices preferred. Experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques preferred. Background in motivational interviewing preferred. Knowledge/experience working in the mental health, substance use, and/or problem gambling field preferred. Your Application We're excited to hear from you!
