Job Description

WinnMed is seeking to hire a Veteran Specialist to the WinnMed Hospice team! The Veteran Specialist is responsible to develop and coordinate a Veteran program within WinnMed Hospice, in alignment with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) "We Honor Veterans" program. This includes coordination of volunteers, recognition, and serving as a liaison for all Veteran services for our patients. This individual will serve as a resource for patients and other Veteran organizations to assist Veteran patients and families during end of life processes. The Veteran Specialist will assist in marketing our services to area communities. This position is PRN, or work shifts as needed.
