Job Description

RISE, Ltd. is seeking a dedicated, organized, and compassionate leader to direct our Daily Supported Community Living services in Elkader, Iowa. If you're passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities and mental illness, this role offers the opportunity to lead, train, and inspire a team while ensuring exceptional, person-centered residential support.
Salary Amount:
$45,000-$65,000, based on education and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Daily SCL services in Elkader, including 24/7 staffing across assigned homes. Hire, supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate direct support staff; lead performance coaching and recognition. Coordinate and participate in person-centered Individual Program Plans (IPPs) and ensure consistent implementation. Develop, implement, and monitor Crisis Intervention Plans and Behavior Support strategies. Ensure thorough oversight of client medical needs (appointments, EMAR, medication administration, physician orders). Monitor and support client benefits and required documentation. Provide direct services as needed; ensure health, safety, choice, and satisfaction of individuals served. Participate in the Daily SCL on-call and provide timely support to staff. Conduct Quality Assurance reviews, incident follow-ups, and environmental/safety checks. Track service provision and billing units; support accurate documentation and authorizations. Maintain compliance with Medicaid HCBS, Managed Care Organizations, licensing, and other regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to agency policies and procedures; contribute to continuous quality improvement. Serve as a member of the RISE, Ltd. management team, advancing the organization's mission and strategic vision.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field preferred, or five (5) years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or mental illness.
