Job Description
SMX is seeking a EUCOM Deputy Program Manager (Tactical Mission Networks) to lead day-to-day execution of SMX's tactical mission network (TMN) capability portfolio supporting U.S. European Command (EUCOM), Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) SOFCOM, and partner forces across the theater. The position drives program performance across the Ukraine Tactical Network (UTN), enhanced Shadow Network for
NATO SOFCOM
(eSNS), and the EUCOM spoke of the SOF Enterprise Mission Environment (SEME), serving as the deputy to the Program Manager and the on-the-ground operational lead for EUCOM theater execution. The Deputy Program Manager applies program management discipline and tactical mission network expertise to deliver secure, modular, scalable, and interoperable network capabilities to U.S. and partner-force operators. The role manages cost, schedule, and technical performance; coordinates withSOCEUR, EUCOM J6, NATO
Special Operations Headquarters (NSHQ), and the designated Government Requirements Owner (GRO); aligns work with adjacent programs of record including SEME and NGC2; and oversees forward-deployed contractor performance during the transition of capability ownership to the theater. This position requires a results-driven manager who can run complex programs in a fast-moving operational environment, sustain professional relationships across U.S. SOF and NATO partner staffs, and ensure that fielded TMNs remain combat-ready in support of EUCOM theater objectives. This position requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.Application Deadline:

+ Develop, manage, and execute interoperability and modernization plans with allied defense partners. + Serve as liaison across U.S. and partner nation staffs to ensure alignment with DoD strategic objectives. + Coordinate with acquisition and program offices to enable secure, interoperable C4 capabilities. + Analyze systems and architectures to identify opportunities for enhanced connectivity and mission effectiveness. + Represent the organization at multinational forums, working groups, and planning events.Required Skills/Experience:
