Your culinary skills will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring each plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and seasonal specials to keep offerings fresh and exciting Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper handling procedures and cleaning protocols Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, grills, and other culinary tools Support food preparation activities for catering events or large orders, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service, serving dishes promptly and courteously to guests or customers Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing or substitutions are necessary Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related role within the food industry or restaurant setting Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus, especially for specialized menus or healthcare settings Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel Prior culinary experience with menu planning, food service, catering, or serving roles is highly desirable Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
