Group Facilitator Location:
Crystal Lake , IL (In-person)Pay:
$22.00- $25.
Hours:
Monday- 12:00 pm
- 9:00 pm, Tuesday 9 am
- 3pm, Wednesday 12:00 pm
- 9:00 pm, Thursday 9:00 am
- 7:00 pm (no Fridays) Some flexibility may be required.
About Us:
As a mid-sized nonprofit with a team of more than 50 professionals, Turning Point is proud to provide comprehensive domestic violence services to McHenry County. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team and make a difference in the lives of individuals and the community.Responsibilities:
Plan and co-facilitate PAIP, PPI, and SIP groups following state guidelines. Collaborate with court services and child-welfare agencies. Communication and collaborate with PAIP colleagues. Maintain accurate client records and documentation. Conduct assessment and evaluation of persons seeking anger/abuse evaluation either by court order, DCFS order, other agencies or voluntarily. Utilize an understanding of men's issues and experiences to foster engagement, reflection, and behavior change while maintaining participant accountability. Provide services under a trauma informed care paradigmQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, or human services Strong communication and time management skills. Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness to complete required training and certifications. (40 Hour ICADV Training and 20-hour PAIP Training) and become CPAIP certified within one year of employment Ability to prioritize and follow through with tasks. Experience in mental health or domestic violence field preferred. Bilingual (Spanish & English) (Added pay differential) Required Males and all genders encouraged to apply How toApply:
