- Full-time Job Summary The Workshop Coordinator supervises the production management supervisor and the work crew specialists, oversees budgeting, inventory, and reporting systems.
They also keep an eye on program results, track participant progress, and ensure all documentation is accurate and on time. As a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP), they handle personalized service planning, annual assessments, intake coordination, and case records. This position requires a certification for or a bachelor's degree in one of the following categories: Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Social Work, Speech-language Pathology, Recreation, Human Services OR a bachelor's degree with at least 30 semester hours in human services course work. Duties Assist with the planning and development of program curricula and program evaluation system to fulfill the needs of each participant Supervise work services staff to provide subcontract and manufacturing operations to include development of staff training, time studies, production procedures, quality control, shipping and receiving Ensure that assessments are completed on all clients enrolled in the program annually Conduct initial and annual ISP's for non-funded and private pay clients Assist in the collection and monitoring of information required for Department of Labor Certification Perform those additional duties as required by the supervisor, which are necessary to ensure the continued efficient and effective operation of the immediate program assignment as well as that of the Agency in general. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human services field required Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience and computer skills required Strong verbal and written communication skills Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities required Possession of a valid driver's license, own transportation, and proof of insurance MVR clearance with no more than 1 moving violation within the past 2 years No felony conviction from criminal background check Clear record on Nurse's Aide Registry Abilities Plus is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
