Second shift This role is expected to provide on-site leadership coverage during times when clinical leadership is not present, including evenings and weekends Position Summary Top of the World Ranch is seeking a strong, compassionate, and accountable leader to serve as our Program Facilitator Manager. This position is primarily responsible for the management, development, education, and day-to-day oversight of Program Facilitator staff. The ideal candidate is someone who can lead with both empathy and structure—holding staff and clients accountable while reinforcing expectations, policies, and procedures with consistency and professionalism. This individual will play a critical leadership role within the organization, serving as a dependable presence for both staff and clients, particularly during evenings and weekends when clinical staff may not be on-site. The Program Facilitator Manager must be committed to learning Top of the World Ranch's policies, procedures, and standards at a high level and ensuring they are upheld with excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct supervision, leadership, coaching, and support to Program Facilitator staff Train, educate, and develop Program Facilitator team members to ensure strong performance, consistency, and adherence to expectations Promote accountability among staff through clear communication, follow-through, performance feedback, and supportive leadership Reinforce a culture of professionalism, compassion, structure, and service to clients Serve as the primary on-site leadership presence during second shift, weekends, and other periods when clinical staff are not present Ensure Program Facilitator staff understand and consistently follow organizational policies, procedures, safety protocols, and client care expectations Monitor staff performance and provide real-time guidance, redirection, and problem-solving as needed Support client programming, daily structure, behavioral expectations, and milieu management in alignment with the organization's treatment philosophy Help maintain a safe, therapeutic, respectful, and well-structured environment for clients and staff Partner with the Director, Clinical and Operations to identify opportunities for process improvement, staff development, and operational consistency Assist with onboarding and ongoing education of Program Facilitator staff Communicate significant concerns, incidents, staff issues, and client issues to appropriate leadership in a timely manner Model professionalism, calm leadership, sound judgment, and effective decision-making in a dynamic treatment environment Assist in maintaining continuity of operations across shifts and ensuring expectations are carried out consistently across the team Leadership Expectations The Program Facilitator Manager is expected to: Lead by example Balance compassion with accountability Uphold the standards of the organization even when difficult conversations are required Create structure without losing empathy Be creative, dynamic, and solutions-oriented Build trust with both clients and staff Help elevate the performance, professionalism, and consistency of the Program Facilitator team Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Prior leadership, supervisory, or team development experience required Ability to coach, mentor, and hold others accountable in a professional and respectful manner Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional in a fast-paced or emotionally charged environment Ability to understand, apply, and enforce policies and procedures consistently Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Availability to work the required second shift and weekend schedule Preferred Qualifications Experience working in substance use disorder treatment, mental health, behavioral health, residential care, or a related human services setting preferred Experience managing direct care, milieu, residential, or support staff strongly preferred Demonstrated success in staff development, training, and performance management Strong leadership candidates from other industries will also be considered, especially those with a proven ability to lead teams, create systems, and build accountability Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a dynamic and creative leader who genuinely wants to help others while also maintaining high standards. Work Environment / Physical Demands Work is performed in a residential treatment environment Must be able to move throughout the facility and respond to staff and client needs during the shift Must be able to remain engaged and present for extended shifts, including evenings and weekends May be required to assist in crisis response, de-escalation support, and operational oversight consistent with training and company policy Why This Role Matters This position is essential to maintaining the quality, consistency, and accountability of the Program Facilitator team.
