Care Specialist
Job Description
Mission of Naomi's House The mission of Naomi's House is to offer hope and healing to women who have suffered from commercial sexual exploitation, and to provide them with tools and resources to begin a new life. We are looking for people who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others, who love God and have a vibrant personal relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ and are passionate about loving His people. Care Specialist of Reside The Care Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution of participant care within Naomi's House's Reside Program. The Care Specialist walks alongside participants as they move through the program — scheduling their care, tracking their progress toward stage goals, and making sure the plan built by the care team actually happens on the ground. The Care Specialist seeks to support participants holistically in all areas of the program, including but not limited to their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and should exhibit strong relational, organizational, and communication skills. This is a non-clinical position. Big-picture care planning, treatment planning, and escalated clinical decisions are a collective effort of the participant's care team, with final approval held by the Site Director and Program Manager. The Care Specialist contributes to those conversations as a member of the care team and then owns the execution of what the team decides. This position is full-time and will mainly consist of daytime hours. While allowing for flexibility in hours, the Care Specialist should expect to be available M-F during the day and occasionally on weekends and holidays. The Care Specialist reports to the Program Manager of Reside, who operates under the direction of the Site Director. This is a salaried position that does not include overtime or time and a half.
