Program Lead Facilitator Location:
TBD Pay:
$16/hour
Schedule Monday-Friday:
6:30/6:45-9:30 AM & 3:15/3:25-6:00 PM ~30 hours/week (PM-only sites: ~15 hours/week and vary) Fall and Spring Break hours are required unless time off is requested and approved by a supervisor. Time off can be requested as needed and should be scheduled thoughtfully to avoid frequent or repeated absences.

Director + Supervisor Position Summary The Before and After-School Lead Facilitator is responsible for supervising students in a safe, structured, and engaging environment while ensuring smooth daily program operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, addressing questions, managing concerns professionally, and coordinating efficient student pick-up procedures. The Lead Facilitator demonstrates strong communication and leadership skills, guiding both students and staff while fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere. They are responsible for implementing pre-planned lessons and activities, adapting them as needed to meet student needs, and maintaining high levels of participation and engagement. This position requires reliability, organization, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, including student oversight, parent interactions, and activity facilitation, all while upholding program standards and safety protocols. Lead Facilitator Duties Support the goals of Honey Grove and the assigned site by assisting with daily program operations, ensuring compliance with school policies, procedures, and staff-to-student ratios. Help develop and implement procedures that maintain a safe, organized, and efficient program environment. Maintain confidentiality for students, families, and staff. Create and?maintain?a welcoming, positive environment indoors and outdoors. Attend required program events (e.g., Meet the Teacher Night, Parent Night Out). Help lead camps during intermissions and Summer Break; availability is?required?unless time off is approved. Manage the program independently when the Site Supervisor is absent. (AM and PM only) Student Management Duties Implement Honey Grove lesson plans and program structure using developmentally?appropriate practices. Support teachers with behavior management and individualized behavior plans when needed. Assist?with activities, events, and camps. Monitor allergies, attendance, program plans, and parent pickup. Follow Honey Grove behavior policies outlined in the Parent Guide. Parent Communication Duties Create a welcoming environment for families and visitors. Maintain?consistent parent communication; and ensure Supervisor is aware so they can provide a documented follow-up or phone call. Additional Skills and Goals Proficiency?in Microsoft Office with strong writing skills. Ability to lead a group of teacher assistance professionally and enthusiastically. Strong customer service and communication skills. Commitment to learning Supervisor responsibilities and applying new skills.
Requirements:
Requirements Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly using proper English grammar. CPR and First Aid Certification. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to resolve conflicts professionally. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and school personnel. Willingness to accept feedback, training, and guidance from leadership.
