Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Automotive Manufacturer Program Manager who is capable of ensuring the successful launch of platform programs within specified quality, budget and timing targets. Essential Functions (Accountable for the following end results) 1. Provide technical leadership in coordinating, facilitating, motivating, and directing cross-functional (CFT) program teams while ensuring efficient use of team resources. 2. Ensure customer and Company requirements are met including cost, budget, quality, timing, and other related aspects of programs. 3. Work with internal/external resources to maintain strong customer relationships with dedication to customer program schedules. 4. Organize and champion weekly CFT meeting with all HLAM (sister plant) stakeholders. Gain support for & develop program objectives/deliverables and ensure all groups involved understand customer demands for successful launch of a program. 5. Document and monitor program objectives by means of open issue lists, milestone reviews, Company standard forms & templates along with launch (manufacturing) readiness reviews. 6. Prepare PPAP checklist and ensure all (18) PPAP Elements and various Customer Specific Requirements are available/prepared by CFT members. 7. Review & facilitate component procurement orders for customer build trials, testing, assembly line trials and run-at-rate. Track design changes (timing & pricing.) 8. Maintain and project a positive attitude. 9. Complete additional tasks and assignments given by Supervisor/Manager. 10. Consistent and regular attendance. Competencies BS degree in Engineering or Business (or AAS degree plus 5 yrs program management experience Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal) Experience in a fast-paced office/manufacturing environment Certified Program Manager or Program Management Professional certification a plus
