Job Description

Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities Administrative support and data maintenance. Provides essential services to TES regarding processing undergraduate and graduate student's information and documents in relation to certifications, endorsements, and rank changes through approved programs. Enter accurate records of admission and exit information for undergraduate and graduate students who are participating in EPSB approved educator preparation programs. Review the yearly Admission & Exit report for accuracy and completeness before submitting to the state. Verify students have met coursework and assessment requirements prior to issuing a recommendation to the state for the student's certification, endorsement, or rank change. Maintain a complete record of recommendations, denials, and additional information for each student enrolled in an approved program and use these records to pull reports together as needed for TES. Generate early notification letters for undergraduate students who are pending graduation and have successfully completed the student teaching program. Review weekly PRAXIS score reports sent to the University on behalf of students to denote which undergraduate and graduate students have met the assessment requirements for the program. Assist the Director of TES as needed to gather information, pull records, and generate reports. Collaborate with coworkers to update and maintain a digital database central to the success of TES. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Requirements Two years of college. Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements Four years of upper-level office experience in a business, government, or industrial setting. Additional college and related experience may be exchanged year-for-year to meet qualifications. Alertness, initiative, attention to accuracy, memory for oral and written directions or details, ability to plan and make decisions often without instruction of supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Keyboarding, filing, MS Office Suite programs, office procedures; bookkeeping may be required. Excellent decision-making skills, problem solving and organizational skills. Pleasant disposition and demeanor. Ability to multitask.
