Full Job Description About Delta Projects:
Delta Projects supports adults with intellectual disabilities, traumatic and acquired brain injuries and other developmental challenges in residential, day and employment support programs. Our dedicated staff support individuals in 20 plus communities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. Delta Projects, Inc. currently has openings for Direct Support Professionals (DSP) (also known as Community Inclusion Specialist's) for Delta's Community Based Day Supports Program (CBDS) in Dedham, MA.
Day Program, Direct Support Professional Requirements:
  • A passion for the work we do. Be able to bring positive energy to Delta's Day Program and engage with the Individuals.
  • Be excited to engage the Individuals in life-skills training and be comfortable facilitating classes
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; or associate degree
  • Must have at least one year's experience working in a Human Services Day Program as a Direct Support Professional or Community Inclusion Specialist.
  • Must have a current MAP certification or be able to pass the exam within 4 months of employment
  • All applicants must have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least one year.
  • All applicants must have a reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication skills; chosen candidates will function as representatives of Delta Projects within the community and maintain a professional presentation in physical appearance and communication style.
  • Must be able to demonstrate competence in certain areas of training including but not limited to CPR, First Aid, non-violent physical interventions, behavior management, medication administration, and driving
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office applications Why Delta?
