The organization provides programs and services designed to support underserved, low-income women, girls, youth, and families in the Malden community.

The WorkSmart Program Coordinator will lead and manage YWCA Malden\'s WIOA-funded In-School Workforce Development Program serving eligible high school students.

The Coordinator will support students with education, career exploration, employment preparation, leadership development, and work-based learning opportunities while ensuring that the program meets WIOA documentation, reporting, performance, and grant requirements. The Coordinator will work alongside a Co-Coordinator who is a Malden Public Schools Guidance Counselor and provides additional support with participant enrollment and school connectivity. WIOA Program Responsibilities Lead and manage WorkSmart, YWCA Malden\'s WIOA-funded In-School Workforce Development Program for eligible high school students. Recruit, enroll, and retain eligible participants and ensure completion of required program components. Meet individually with participants to assess educational, career, employment, and supportive-service needs and establish individualized goals. Plan and coordinate career exploration, educational activities, leadership development, job shadowing, internships, and paid and unpaid work experiences. Maintain accurate participant records and complete timely data entry in MOSES (Massachusetts One-Stop Employment System), ShareFile, and other required systems. Monitor participant progress and ensure program goals, grant requirements, and performance expectations are met. Manage and track program expenditures and ensure costs are allowable under the approved grant budget. Meet regularly with the Program/Executive Director and program funder to review progress, evaluate performance, address challenges, and support successful program implementation. Complete required WIOA documentation, reporting, compliance activities, and annual monitoring requirements. Teen Program & Team Responsibilities Serve as an active and collaborative member of the YWCA Malden team. Participate in teen activities, programs, workshops, and special events. Provide guidance and support to teens and contribute to a positive, inclusive program environment. Work cooperatively with staff and community partners. Support the overall mission and goals of YWCA Malden. Perform other related duties as assigned. Experience working with teens or young adults in youth development, education, career exploration, or workforce development is preferred. Ability to independently manage a small workforce development program while meeting deadlines and grant requirements. Strong organizational, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills. Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented. Cultural responsiveness and the ability to work effectively with teens from diverse backgrounds. WIOA or youth workforce development experience is preferred. Degree or relevant coursework in education, adolescent development, human services, workforce development, or a related field is preferred. Valid driver\'s license required.
