Job Description

Day Coordinator We are currently accepting applications for potential Day Coordinator openings. Specific program assignments will be based on organizational needs and may include opportunities in Residential, ITT, Adult Services, or IIP programs. The Day Coordinator is responsible for the direct, in-classroom oversight of teacher implementation of student educational and behavior reduction programming, organization and execution of educational and clinical projects (acquisition assessments, functional analysis and treatment of problem behavior), supervision of teacher implementation of treatment protocols, and serves as a role model in the implementation of student programs.
General Responsibilities :
Work to ensure the health and safety of students and staff Teach students on the team, implementing all behavior, educational, and IEP objective programming Demonstrate strong leadership skills, promote teamwork, and problem solving (scheduling, student guidelines, etc.) Model excellence in teaching by correctly and consistently implementing student behavior treatment programs, IEP curriculum, and teaching strategies designed to increase student independence Prioritize time spent per week conducting sessions, student observations, and staff training In conjunction with other team supervisors, act as a staff mentor and trainer Assist the Program Specialist in the completion of clinical and educational responsibilities Complete all documentation for regulatory and licensing purposes
Qualifications :
Residential Coordinator or similar experience required Prior supervisory experience ( NECC Core Shift Management) Demonstrated proficiency in the application of the principles of ABA Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal skills, and proven leadership ability Active enrollment in, or completion of a Master s degree program Deadline to apply: Thursday, April 16, 2026 • A detailed job description is available in the Human Resources Department NECC is committed to an inclusive culture where all students, employees, families, and partners feel welcome, safe, and valued.
