Schedule:
9am-5pm Monday-Friday , Full-Time 40
Hours Pay Range :
$30.33-$31.33
Job Summary :
Oversees the day-to-day operation of the residence, including implementing agency policy and practice and ensuring compliance with the statutory requirements of the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). Fulfills programmatic responsibilities by providing quality living supports and supervision to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities and program staff. Ensures Northeast Arc's Residential Division reflects the mission statement and vision of the agency.
Major Responsibilities:
Provides responsive, effective residential supports and leads program staff in creating an atmosphere that places individual respect, dignity, and empowerment above all else. Completes all documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including ISP Documentation, Health Care Records, HCSIS, Incident Reporting, Weekend Notes, House Profiles, Vacation Memos, Staffing Schedules, and Service Reports. Provides all required trainings to staff and ensures staff possess requisite skills to effectively support the individuals. Actively participates in Residential Meetings, Clinical Meetings, JAMM meetings, QAs, and other meetings as required. Participates in Agency trainings and Committees as assigned. Completes billing information, payroll, other documentation accurately and in a timely fashion. Establishes good interpersonal relationships with staff, helping them feel valued and appreciated. Interviews, hires, trains and schedules staff to meet ratio of requirements of the residence. Facilitates staff meetings, supports staff and provides regular on-site supervision. Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
BS/BA strongly preferred HS Diploma/GED Minimum of three years prior experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities or within human services.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to work at a desk/computer in an office environment and physically be able to provide direct support to individuals in their homes. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for periods of time, push wheelchairs, and provide physical intervention as necessary and lift and/or transfer individuals.
Work Environment:
This position includes a combination of working in an office environment and working on-site in community settings and residential homes.
