Job Description

Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Program Coordinator to provide administrative project oversight of a narrower scope under the direction of a supervisor. Coordinates budget and accounting, space management, personnel management, overall management, contracts, and purchasing. Completes more routine tasks independently and relies on guidance from higher Program Manager (PM) levels for more complex tasks. This position will be in support of the DoW/USU Brain Tissue Repository (BTR) under the Department of Pathology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The BTR was established by the Department of War to advance traumatic brain injury research. The BTR's mission is to better understand the effects of traumatic brain injury and promote overall brain health of the Warfighter. Using the best science, we support our service members and their families to help care for our military after a head injury. The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine. We serve military, medical, academic and government clients by administering, managing and supporting preeminent scientific programs that benefit members of the armed forces and civilians alike. Since its founding in 1983, HJF has served as a vital link between the military medical community and its federal and private partners. HJF's support and administrative capabilities allow military medical researchers and clinicians to maintain their scientific focus and accomplish their research goals.
