Job Description

- A&R Comfort Care is hiring a Part-Time After-School Program Manager
- to lead our after-school program at
- Gaithersburg High School
- . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with
- management experience and a Bachelor's degree
- who wants a rewarding part-time leadership position with a consistent school-day schedule.
COMPENSATION
- $25.00 per hour
SCHEDULE
- Monday-Friday | 2:30 PM-6:00 PM
- Schedule may vary during school holidays, no-school days, holiday breaks, and summer break.
IMPORTANT
- Candidates must be able to arrive at the school no later than 3:00 PM.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the after-school program and providing leadership to program staff.Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and supervise program staff
- Assign staff responsibilities and daily tasks
- Conduct and coordinate group activities for students
- Help maintain a safe, structured, positive, and engaging environment
- Monitor staff and ensure program expectations are being followed
- Address day-to-day issues and provide leadership when challenges arise
- Report incidents, concerns, and important program matters to upper management
- Communicate effectively with staff and upper management
- Help ensure the program runs efficiently and professionally
- Serve as a positive role model for both staff and students.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- You MUST meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Previous management/supervisory experience required
- Must have a
- clean criminal background
- and successfully pass required background screening. Must be able to arrive at
- Gaithersburg High School by 3:00 PM at the latest
- Strong leadership and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to manage staff and confidently handle day-to-day program situations.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience in any of the following is a plus:- After-school programs
- Youth programs
- Education
- Childcare
- Behavioral support
- Community programs
- School-based programs
- Staff supervision
