Job Description

International Programs Specialist A well-established professional association is seeking an International Programs Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and administration of global educational initiatives, international exchange programs, visiting scholar programs, and international partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized administrative professional who enjoys international coordination, travel logistics, event support, and working with stakeholders across diverse cultures and countries.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and has a keen attention to detail when coordinating travel, meetings, educational programs, and international communications. Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of administrative, program coordination, executive support, event coordination, or international programs experience.
  • Experience coordinating travel, calendars, meetings, and logistics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders, educational programs, associations, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, or global initiatives is highly preferred.

  • Additional employer-sponsored benefits salary: $31 - $35 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Associate Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the International Programs team.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, visas, transportation, and itineraries.
  • Manage calendars, schedules, meetings, and travel logistics for leadership and international delegates.
  • Draft correspondence, meeting agendas, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
  • Serve as a point of contact for international program participants, partner organizations, and educational institutions.
  • Coordinate scholar exchange, visiting scholar, and educational travel programs.
  • Assist with application processing, participant tracking, communications, and program logistics.
  • Support international educational meetings, conferences, and annual events.
  • Coordinate travel reimbursements, wire transfers, and other program-related financial administration.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including membership, marketing, meetings, education, and executive leadership teams.
  • Assist with membership initiatives involving international organizations and partner groups.
  • Support special projects and additional departmental initiatives as assigned. Skills
