Summary:
The Group and Activity Coordinator is a member of the Interdisciplinary team that works under the direction of the Inpatient Clinical Manager. This person works with unit leadership to bring forth a set programming curriculum to patients receiving care on inpatient units. The Group Activity Coordinator role is to be responsible for managing a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic group room that embodies the Philosophy of Care of Acadia hospital and demonstrates a commitment to creating a culture of caring.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of
Relevant Work Experience Responsibilities :
Works with Clinical Manager and/or Program Specialist to bring forward curriculum based in Collaborative Problem Solving to the patients in a safe and caring environment. Serve as a group room safety representative and is responsible for ensuring environmental safety of the group rooms is being adhered to. Work with unit leadership to help identify areas of improvement and growth for group programming, unit processes, and policy.
