Schedule :
This is a full-time, 40-hours/week position. M-F, regular business hours.Location :
South Portland, ME. This position will be fully onsite, in person supporting the office flow.Qualifications :
Associates Degree preferred but not required and/or 5 years demonstrated technical, operational and supervisory experience required. Strong oral, written and organizational skills and ability to comprehend, organize and incorporate program manuals, regulations, rules and guidelines. Ability to utilize and analyze data and other information to draft and implement program work plans, operational plans and staffing plans. Experience in coordinating with multiple parties including other (leveraged) funding sources, staff and clients. Ability to negotiate and mediate and problem solve among multiple parties. Social Services or experience working with low-income individuals and families. Ability to maintain multiple employee and client schedules and to organize, plan and schedule workload. Ability to learn and troubleshoot mandated program electronic databases. Ability to deal with confidential matters and maintain confidential files, to interact appropriately and with discretion. Demonstrated ability and experience in working with low-income clients. Ability to respond within a fast paced environment, and to fulfill multiple and concurrent administrative functions. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to operate photocopier, facsimile, and multi-line telephone. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check. Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list. Normal office conditions and must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and occasionally lift and carry material weighing up to 25 pounds. Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area. This may include transportation of clients or driving to agency location to complete work. A good driving record is required.Benefits :
