Job Overview Get It Done Solutions, LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Life Connections Program Spiritual Guide to facilitate the Bureau of Prisons' Residential Faith-Based Pre-Release Program (Life Connections Program). The selected contractor will facilitate structured educational classes and group discussions designed to help participants build personal responsibility, strengthen positive values, develop healthy coping skills, and prepare for successful reintegration into their communities. The program serves individuals from diverse faith traditions, as well as those with no religious affiliation, through an interfaith, values-based approach. Duties Facilitate the Bureau of Prisons Life Connections curriculum. Facilitate discussions covering spiritual growth, personal responsibility, emotional wellness, conflict resolution, family restoration, leadership development, religious tolerance and community reintegration. Encourage participant engagement through journaling, group discussions, community service activities, and victim impact programming. Collaborate with the institution's Chaplain and program staff. Monitor participant progress and document rule violations when required. Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements. Maintain professional boundaries within a federal correctional environment. Attend required orientation and contractor training. Comply with all Bureau of Prisons security procedures and institutional policies. Requirements A Master's degree or currently enrolled in an accredited Master's degree program in Divinity, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or a closely related field. Preferred Qualifications Preference may be given to candidates with experience in: Teaching or facilitating adult education Counseling or mentoring adults Faith-based or correctional programming Group facilitation Working with diverse populations Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is: Passionate about mentoring and helping others succeed Comfortable working in a correctional environment An engaging facilitator and communicator Respectful of diverse faith traditions Dependable, organized, and professional Skilled at building trust while maintaining appropriate boundaries Committed to supporting positive behavioral change Work Environment Work is performed within a secure Federal Bureau of Prisons correctional institution. Candidates must be comfortable working in a correctional setting and interacting professionally with incarcerated individuals. Contractors must comply with all institutional security procedures and dress code requirements. Schedule Approximately 24 hours per week Monday-Thursday Approximately 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Occasional evening sessions based on program needs Federal holidays excluded Final schedule coordinated with the institution's Chaplain Compensation & Employment $40.00-$55.00 per hour , depending on qualifications and experience Part-Time 1099 Independent Contractor Security Requirements Candidates must successfully complete the Federal Bureau of Prisons contractor screening process, which may include: Criminal background investigation Fingerprinting Employment verification Credit review Security documentation Institutional orientation Applicants must be eligible to obtain authorization to enter and work within a federal correctional institution.
