Job Description
Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Program Manager to join its organization. The Program Manager for the AMPV Production Contract oversees and manages the technical project(s) and serves as a liaison between the government Project Manager as well as the various management teams and line managers. The Program Manager is a developmental role for candidates that are interested in our mission, excited about our programs, and want to build a strong foundation for a Program Management career with the AMPV team. This is a full-time on-site position that works cross-functionally across the enterprise. The Program Manager focuses on monitoring contract performance, supporting government managers and providing assessment of the contract deliverables and supporting program reviews. Prepares project execution plans and identifies technical and business resource requirements Reviews Status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet customer satisfaction goals and objectives Support day-to-day activities to coordinate and manage AMPV projects for performance compliance with cost estimates, plan schedules, and status reporting requirements within established company practices to identify and mitigate program risks and meet commitments Develop, execute, and manage risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives Development, analysis, and review of project reports and other program documentation, monitor metrics and provide coordination and support, as required, to program leadership and program management reviews. Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs on a daily basis. Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to collaboratively drive strategy and monitor performance metrics to mitigate program issues. Lead continuous improvement activites including tools and processes for the program and business area. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree with 6 years experience or equivalent education/work experience Proficiency with MS Office 35 applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project). Experience with Earned Value Management (scheduling, financial reporting, and analysis). Experience with overall management of specific projects and tasks and ensures that the technical solutions, schedules and project deliverables are implemented in a timely manner. Experience supporting increasing demand while continuing to meet key performance indicators. Ability to lead in a cross-functional team environment, with a customer-focused approach, and an aptitude for continuous improvement in serving internal and external customers. Ability to initiate, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to lead diverse matrixed team comprised of operations, production support, supply chain, engineers, logisticians, finance, scheduling, and other subject matter experts. Ability to manage and report status of projects within a project management discipline. Ability to provide strategic contributions while successfully executing on tactical objectives. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) Experience with risk and opportunity management
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
$107359 - $182510 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Employee Benefits:
