Position Summary The Satellite Senior Dining Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the health, connection, and well-being of older adults within our community. This position oversees the daily operations of assigned Catholic Charities Senior Dining locations—including rural sites—to ensure welcoming, high-quality service for all diners. Key Responsibilities Site & Program Management Manage day-to-day operations of assigned Senior Dining sites in alignment with program policies and procedures.

Welcome, register, and engage with diners to create a warm, friendly, and supportive atmosphere.

Provide information and referrals to additional community services when appropriate. Recordkeeping & Administration Track and report meals served and maintain accurate activity records.

Complete documentation for Insurance/Waiver meals and ensure proper authorizations are obtained.

Record diner contributions and process deposits.

Order non-food supplies and submit weekly reports to the Senior Dining administrative office. Volunteer Coordination Recruit, schedule, and support volunteers to help deliver a positive Senior Dining experience.

Maintain clear communication and ensure volunteers understand their roles. Social & Wellness Programming Plan and promote social, health, and wellness activities for diners.

Communicate regularly with participants to keep them engaged and informed. Community Outreach & Marketing Promote the Senior Dining Program through local media, community partners, and public events.

Represent Catholic Charities at senior expos, fairs, government meetings, and other community gatherings. Meals on Wheels Coordination Oversee and assess the Meals on Wheels program for assigned areas.

Conduct annual in-home assessments to determine eligibility.

Connect clients with additional community resources when needed. Food Service Support Set up on-site meal service and ensure food safety standards—including temperature requirements—are met.

Track additional food items and coordinate returns to the meal production site.
Qualifications Education/Training:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
