Program Manager

Job Description An employer is looking for a Program Manager for one of our top Energy Services companies in the Nation. This Program Manager is responsible for leading a portfolio of capital technology projects supporting Distribution, Transmission, Gas, Energy Supply, Nuclear and Commercial Operations business units within the PMO. You will be responsible to oversee and manage multiple delivery PM's and their respected projects, supporting on schedule and on budget delivery to approved scope. As well as defining controls to effectively manage portfolio activities and delivery expectations. You will be responsible writing status reports for the portfolio that go directly to the Leadership. In this role you will own a portfolio with about 5 Project Managers you will be supporting, and you will also run a specific project as well. This is an awesome opportunity for long-term growth with a team that is charging at some of the organizations most high visibility initiatives. You will need to be onsite 2-3 days a week in Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO!

• Minimum 5+ years of experience leading people who lead projects
• 10+ years of overall project management experience
• Proven experience managing large‑scale projects with budgets typically ranging from $5-10 million
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project
• Working familiarity with ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (SPM) or willingness to ramp up and learn quickly
• Demonstrated strong leadership and people‑management skills
• Proven experience leading large scale software implementations
• Experience with SPM
• Strategic Portfolio Management Tool (ServiceNow Project Module)
• Experience or exposure to LEAN methodologies
