As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations of the group homes, ensuring that all aspects of care are carried out to the highest standards. You will manage the safety, well-being, and progress of the clients goals, as well as support and supervise the staff working in the homes. You will also be a key figure in fostering a team environment, overseeing scheduling, conducting training, attending client-related meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:
Client Safety & Well-Being:
Oversee the daily operations of the group homes, ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of clients with high-level behaviors. Respond to emergency situations and incidents promptly, ensuring proper care and resolution.Staff Supervision & Support:
Lead and manage the staff within the group homes, providing guidance and support in behavioral management and crisis intervention. Ensure that all staff are properly trained and motivated to deliver quality care.Scheduling:
Develop and manage the work schedules for all staff in the group homes, ensuring that coverage is adequate to meet the needs of both clients and staff.Staff Training & Development:
Ensure that all staff receive proper and up-to-date training in behavior management techniques, safety protocols, crisis intervention, and other relevant areas. Monitor staff progress and provide ongoing development opportunities.Meetings & Case Management:
Attend all relevant meetings related to client care, including but not limited to treatment plan reviews, interdisciplinary team meetings, and case conferences. Ensure that client care plans are followed and adjusted as needed.Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure that the group homes comply with all state, federal, and company regulations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to client progress, incidents, staff performance, and other essential records.Program Improvement:
Regularly assess the effectiveness of the program and implement strategies to improve care, safety, and operational efficiency based on feedback from staff, clients, and other stakeholders.Communication:
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients' families, outside agencies, and other stakeholders regarding client progress, issues, and program developments.Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or program management role in a residential care or behavioral health setting. Proven experience in managing clients with high-level behavioral needs. Strong understanding of behavior management techniques, crisis intervention, and therapeutic approaches. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in group homes or residential care facilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience with various technology platforms.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. CPR, First Aid, and other relevant certifications (or willingness to obtain).
