Job Description

Position Summary:
As a Program Director you will be responsible for managing club membership to ensure efficient operation of the Unit. You will support and develop staff members, create programming that reflects the needs and wants of Club membership, develop management and discipline strategies to maintain proper behavioral standards. This position will communicate regularly with a variety of people using a number of different techniques, manage Club reporting and coordinate with the Unit Director for daily operations.
Key Qualifications:
Prepare youth for success, work as a key member of a team, supervise and ensure safety, develop Club members and Club staff. 2 years experience working in a youth environment Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Ability to facilitate trainings and meetings and communicate effectively Acquire a Class E license Ability to manage up to 20 staff members
Core Responsibilities:
Create, monitor, and report on progress of program services work plans and program budgets. Oversee the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of a broad range of programs for youth between the ages of 6-12. Programming in the areas of Character, Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness and Recreation. Plan, organize, provide guidancce and support to all YDP staff.
