The Y is looking for a Site Coordinator to be the go-to, welcoming presence at our satellite facility in North Madison county - someone who can run day-to-day operations independently while helping shape what this site becomes. What you'll do: Be the friendly, consistent face members and visitors see when they walk in Handle member check-ins, sign-ups, and records (Daxko, Google Workspace) Help plan and deliver sports and recreation programs the community actually wants Partner closely with our corporate team on programming, operations, and site decisions Keep communication flowing with leadership on what's working and what needs attention Build an inclusive, safety-first, community-focused environment true to Y values Spot and flag facility issues before they become problems Help spread the word about programs to grow community participation What you need: High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus Strong communication and customer service instincts Comfortable working independently and taking initiative - this site is still growing, and you'll help build it Experience with membership systems (Daxko a plus) and Google Workspace A genuine connection to the Y's mission and the ability to relate to people from all walks of life Willingness to complete required training (Child Abuse Prevention, New Employee Orientation, Bloodborne Pathogens within 30 days; YMCA Leadership Certification within 60) Ability to pass a background check Good to know: This is an active, on-your-feet role with a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. You'll often be working with minimal on-site supervision, so self-starters thrive here.
