  • The Finance Strategic Program Leader is responsible for leading the design, execution, and continuous evolution of Finance's workforce optimization and operating model strategy.
This role partners across Finance leadership, Human Resources, Technology, and Enterprise Functions to develop scalable service delivery models, enhance organizational effectiveness, and drive sustainable efficiency while maintaining strong control and risk management standards. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of core Finance functions, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, regulatory and management reporting, controllership, treasury support, and finance operations. Leveraging this foundation, the Finance Strategic Initiatives Manager evaluates current-state processes, organizational structures, and service delivery approaches to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, centralization, outsourcing, and global delivery optimization. This role serves as a strategic advisor to senior Finance leaders, helping shape future-state operating models that improve performance, capacity, talent deployment, and cost effectiveness. The position requires strong analytical, transformation, and change leadership capabilities, with the ability to translate enterprise strategy into practical workforce and operating model solutions that enable Finance to meet evolving business, regulatory, and stakeholder expectations.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plans and coordinates closely with LOB/function managers and subject matter experts. 2. Works closely with strategic partners and provides direction to technology leads to support program needs. 3. Ensures that program activities are on a path to deliver benefits realization. 4. Installs an appropriate risk management plan for the program and ensures adherence to company and unit requirements. 5. Proactively challenge the performance of current systems and processes and identifies risks and develops solutions and/or processes and ensures necessary risk mitigation steps are built into the processes. 6. Readily recognizes solution and determines at what point issues require escalation to management. 7. Provides project-related performance evaluations on project resources. 8. Analyzes and collectively manages variances to the program plan and overall portfolio and makes recommendation and/or creates action plan to mitigate negative variances or to resolve issues.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience 2. Five years progressive related experience in either a consulting, project management or process improvement related role 3. Strong skills and experience in issue resolution, influencing team members and other stakeholders, conducting difficult negotiations, and managing to stringent timelines for project deliverables. 4. Demonstrated superior understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, needs and policies. 5. Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous assignments. 6. Demonstrated executive level verbal and written communication skills. 7. Superior working knowledge of business matters, finance, planning, and forecasting 8. Strong skills in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project)
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1.
Advanced degree in a relevant field of work (e.g., MBA). PMP and/or PgMP 2. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement, facilitation, and project management methodologies 3. Experience implementing large/complex initiatives across a matrix organization. 4. In-depth knowledge of management and planning systems theory and practical application to complex initiatives 5. Experience with financial measurements and metrics 6. Financial Services experience 7. Knowledge of business unit's mission and processes 8. Experience implementing large/complex initiatives across a matrix organization.
