6/01/2026 Position Summary We are seeking a Part-Time Youth & Community Program Coordinator to support and oversee multiple youth-focused initiatives centered on workforce development, exposure, and hands-on learning in the skilled trades. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, youth-centered, and passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for young people. The Coordinator will manage 2-5 active initiatives, ensuring smooth program delivery, strong youth engagement, and alignment with organizational goals.

This role requires a strong relationship builder who is organized, adaptable, and passionate about youth development and community engagement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple programs and priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Collaboration across teams is essential, as this individual will support coordinators, instructors, and community partners in successful program execution. This position requires travel between program and partner sites. Experience working with youth, workforce development, construction, or maker/trade-based programming is preferred, but not required. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage scheduling, logistics, budget tracking, and communication across multiple youth programs Support outreach, recruitment, and marketing efforts for current youth programs, including identifying partnership and earned revenue opportunities that increase program participation and sustainability Support facilitation or on-site program delivery Serve as a consistent point of contact for youth, partners, and instructors Track attendance, engagement, and program outcomes Support planning and execution of field trips, workshops, and build days Collaborate with leadership to develop a proposal outlining program engagement capacity and growth opportunities Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Experience working with youth (education, mentoring, workforce development, or community programs) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable working in both classroom and hands-on environments (including outdoor or construction settings) Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to program sites Preferred Qualifications Background in skilled trades, construction, or workforce development Experience coordinating programs or events Familiarity with youth development best practices
