Job Description

Job Summary:
The Center Manager provides and coordinates the necessary support, resources, supervision and leadership to ensure the provision of nurturing care and education to Adult Day client and their families according to the selected curriculum and activities and in strict compliance with the Day Center ordinance for the NC Department of Public Health and Health and Human Services. Responsibilities include effective planning, implementation and evaluation of all operations to sustain and grow the program. The Manager will address and meet program and administrative goals. The Center Manager is responsible for interpretation of the program mission and regulatory requirements. Requires financial viability and continued growth, initialing and managing business relationships.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Aides in the recruitment and coordinates the selection, hiring and orientation of all new staff to the center, within agency-approved processes and policies
  • Ensures licensing requirements are met at all times
  • Coordinates staff scheduling within approved staff-client ratios
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships and regular communication with family-clients; facilitates or directly provides mediation and resolution to family/client program conflicts which arise
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Executive Board
  • Overseeing the work of all Center Aides and Volunteers to ensure they work productively and meet deadlines and company standards
  • Counseling any employees struggling in their roles
  • Answering telephone calls and emails from customers and clients and directing them to relevant staff

Bachelor's (Required)
Experience:
Facility management/supervisory : 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Level "C" CPR (Preferred)
