1 Greensboro, NC Job Details Part-time $33 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Event breakdown BLS Certification Driver's License Driving Working with students Patient care Event setup Full Job Description Classification Information Classification Type Position Overview Primary Purpose of Position The primary purpose of this role is to support the School of Nursing in coordinating and delivering mobile-based simulation experiences and community wellness events. This part-time position is ideal for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about hands-on education, preventive health, and community engagement. The Coordinator will provide clinical and logistical support, help with event setup and simulation activities, and drive the mobile unit when necessary.
Work Hours:
10-20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling based on events (includes occasional evenings or weekends) Primary Function of Organizational Unit The School of Nursing is dedicated to equipping individuals for the nursing profession, ensuring they possess the essential skills & knowledge for quality, safe, patient-centered care. Our comprehensive program offerings include traditional bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) tracks, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN), and RN to BSN pathways. We are proud to offer a new Doctor of Nursing program, further expanding our educational horizons. Students in all programs benefit from academic excellence fostered in small, flexible classes guided by supportive faculty. Minimum Requirements Applicant must hold a current & unrestricted RN license in North Carolina or Compact State License Minimum of two years of clinical experience (community health, simulation, or education experience preferred) Valid driver's license with willingness to drive the mobile unit (training provided) Strong organizational & interpersonal communication skills. Comfortable working with diverse populations & learners in both clinical & community settings. Able to lift up to 30lbs & assist with equipment setup & take down BLS Certification (required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire) Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education Experience with health fairs, wellness outreach, or nursing education. Familiarity with simulation-based learning tools & mannequins (preferred but not required). Flexible, team-oriented, and committed to health equity and access Required License or Certification RN or LPN License Driver's License BLS Certification (required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire) Is this position eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies.
