Type:

after-school Raise A Child Carolinas (RACC) is seeking a dedicated Afterschool Program Facilitator to join our team. The salary range for this role is $15 to $17 per hour. This is a temporary 2-4 week position beginning Sept 14th with the opportunity for future employment. As an Afterschool Program Facilitator, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elementary school students by providing engaging and enriching educational activities in a safe and supportive environment.



Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for elementary school students in the afterschool program
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Provide academic and activity support as needed
  • Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and program coordinators
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive and effective programRequirements
  • Associate's degree in Education or related field preferred
  • Previous experience working with elementary school students
  • Passion for working with youth and a commitment to equity in education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team-Must be able to utilize programs such as Google Mail, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, etc
