Liberty Cares With Compassion At Liberty Hospice we understand the unique needs of our patients and families facing terminal illness. That is why Liberty Hospice provides our hospice patients with state-of-the-art care and pain management services, delivered by our specially trained staff with emphasis on strength, dignity and compassion. We are currently seeking an experienced:
REGIONAL BEREAVEMENT COORDINATOR
Full Time (Columbus and Bladen Counties)
Job Description:
Administer a planned bereavement program in a regional area. Provide bereavement services to assist the patient, family and other individuals in coping with grief/bereavement in an organized program. Provide organization of planned bereavement programs in regional offices. Training of staff for providing bereavement/grief support to families and providing care to bereaved through program plan. Provide statistical reporting and appropriate documentation in bereavement care. Accountable in coordinating outreach and support for bereavement care and support in community and contracted facilities. Other job duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum requirement is a bachelors' degree in human services field such as social work, psychology, counseling or related field with experience and education in death and dying and the grief process. Master's Degree preferred. Experience in group facilitation and support intervention. Knowledge of the signs of grief symptoms and process. Demonstration of proficiency in writing and oral communication. Knowledge and skill with computer software programs to include Word, Excel and documentation system.
