Job Description

Position Summary:
The Program Coordinator supports the implementation, coordination, and day-to-day operations of assigned program sites and related initiatives in alignment with the mission of the organization. This role facilitates program sessions, coordinates logistics and communications, and ensures accurate tracking and reporting of program activities. The Program Coordinator works closely with the Director of Programs to maintain high-quality program delivery and positive participant experiences. Key Responsibilities Program Facilitation & Coordination Facilitate program sessions using LEAD Girls curriculum for groups of 15-25 participants, ensuring safe, engaging, and age-appropriate experiences. Coordinate day-to-day operations of assigned program sites, including scheduling, materials, and participant support. Maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians, and volunteers to support program engagement. Track registration, attendance, and required documentation in alignment with grant and reporting requirements. Assist with compiling and submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual program data; identify trends and share insights with the program team. Ambassador Program Coordination Coordinate and support the LEAD Ambassador Program, including participant recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and communications. Assist in facilitating leadership development activities and engagement opportunities for high school participants. Maintain up-to-date program materials, including rosters, headshots, and related resources. Program Administration & Communications Respond to program emails within 48 hours and monitor voicemail and program applications. Send scheduled communications (emails, texts, app notifications), including welcome information and session reminders. Maintain accurate attendance records, guardian communication notes, and participant data. Track in-kind donations, supply purchases, invoices, and program materials. Prepare and organize communication templates, surveys, flyers, nametags, and event materials (with intern or volunteer support as needed). Support data tracking needs, including demographic reporting and consent records. Team & Office Support Provide general administrative and logistical support to the program team. Prepare materials or workspaces for team members, volunteers, or program activities as needed. Participate in regular check-ins and team meetings with the Director of Programs. Qualifications Passion for empowering girls and commitment to the mission of LEAD Girls of NC. Experience working with youth ages 9-16 in educational, nonprofit, camp, or mentoring settings. Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Google Workspace and virtual communication tools. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with guidance from a supervisor. Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities. Reliable transportation and availability for assigned program site hours, including occasional evenings. Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Education, Social Work, or a related field preferred. Additional Information This position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities but may coordinate the work of volunteers or interns. Some evening hours may be required based on program schedules.
Pay:
$42,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
