Job Position Information Description & Details:
The department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials is seeking a Program Coordinator to provide support for its externally-funded research programs. Duties will include providing financial oversight and management of its large externally-funded research projects, projecting future expenses and assisting project principal investigators with expense planning, working with other offices to ensure accurate allocation of expenditures and compliance with funding agency and university requirements, assist faculty and staff in preparing budgets and other documents required for proposal submissions to granting agencies.
Advertised Salary:
$47,000-$62,000 +
DOE Minimum Qualifications:
A ssociate degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, plus three years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
B achelor's degree in business, accounting, or other related area. Experience in budget preparation, expenditure planning, Experience in federal, state, and local grant accounting requirements. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 applications. Budget forecasting and management, Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to interpret information and summarize information. Time management, prioritization and organizational skills.
